The "Mom" Hair

I guess now that I am a mom, I gotta have the hair, right? I had an idea of how I wanted my hair to look, but this wasn't quite it. It isn't the stylist's fault; she did EXACTLY what I told her to. That is what upsets me the most. Was I subconsciously wanting a hairstyle that would make me look like a typical 30-something Utah Mormon mom sans bouffant and highlights?

Maybe I will do something really wild and crazy, like a pixie cut next time?

I'm a fan of the pixie. :)

Your funny. I like the haircut. I have an appt. today to get my hair done. I thought I would go dark and short, but Brad informed me he thought I wouldn't look good with short hair. I don't know how he would know since I have never had short hair my entire life. So I don't know what to do with my hair. Is it expensive to get your hair done? It is brutal here. I think it is more than in Seattle.

I love Ravenna's look in the picture.

I like it! I think a pixie cut would be really flattering too. There was a woman in my old ward that was pretty tall and had a pixie cut and it looked amazing.

My favorite part of this picture is the look on Ravenna's face.

Just flip it upside down when it's wet, put a little mouse or gel in it, mess it around a bit, and flip it back again. Voila!

Alisa, is that how I get the bouffant or how I should fix my hair-do?

Surprisingly it only cost me $23 (plus tip, of course) which is the least I have paid for a haircut in a LONG time.

Carrie, you're a model. (when I first met you I thought- "That's what I always wanted to look like! Tall, thin, beautiful features!")

I think you look best in your our "Baby Wearing Week" photo. Alisa is right, though. Just mess with your hair now a little and you'll look awesome.
